Squeak is a 2-year-old, neutered male Yorkshire Terrier mix who weighs just 5 pounds. He was found abandoned alongside his brother, Pip, and has been learning what it means to live the good, pampered indoor life over the past month. Squeak is a cautious little guy who can be a bit skittish at first, especially compared to his more confident brother. However, once he feels safe, he truly enjoys being close to his people and will happily curl up next to you for quiet cuddle time. With patience and consistency, his confidence will continue to grow. Because Squeak likely spent most of his life outdoors, he is still learning the basics of indoor living. He is in the process of potty training but still needs work and does best wearing a belly band for now, along with using pee pads as he learns a routine. In his foster home, Squeak has been around a variety of animals and does well with both large and small dogs. He is also good with cats and can tolerate calm, gentle children. Squeak is looking for a patient and loving family who will help him continue building confidence and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place. In return, he’ll be a loyal little companion who loves nothing more than being by your side.
