Olive

Olive is a sweet Rottweiler/Lab mix who came to us looking for friends and has since captured our hearts. This approximately 1-year-old, 60 lb girl is full of love and playfulness. She enjoys running, playing with toys, and especially loves to splash around in her kiddie pool on hot days. Olive is a typical teenager who needs an active family to keep up with her energy and is eager to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Olive would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard where she has plenty of space to run and play. She would do best with a family who understands her need for playtime and is willing to dedicate time to her training. A home with another dog would be ideal, as Olive absolutely loves to play with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Olive is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is currently receiving monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Olive is house-trained and has learned to use a doggy door, so she has no accidents when left loose in the house. She is also excellent in a crate and has slept in one without issues, though she now happily sleeps loose in her foster's bedroom. Olive knows basic commands like "sit," "stay," and comes when called. She is working on leash walking with a prong collar and on not jumping when overexcited.
