Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful Husky who is about 8 years old and weighs around 50 pounds. She experienced a difficult time when her owner passed away and her canine companion was rehomed. Initially, Ivy was traumatized by the loss of her person and her home, but she has adjusted well to her new surroundings. She is very sweet and absolutely loves a good butt scratch!

Ivy has been good with a male dog roommate and would likely do well as an only dog. While she enjoys dog toys, she can't play with them currently because her previous canine companion wasn't good at sharing. Ivy is mild-mannered and can be a bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe and loved. Like many Huskies, she adores the outdoors and needs plenty of exercise.

Ideal Home

Ivy needs a home with a fenced yard to ensure her safety and happiness. She would do best in a quiet, adult-only household and is not suited for homes with young children.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Ivy is housetrained. She is a bit shy initially and needs a patient and loving environment to fully come out of her shell.
