Munch

Munch is a sweet boy who loves to be with his people! He's a medium-sized dog with a big heart, but he can be a little clumsy and doesn't always realize his own size. He's a very good boy who doesn't jump on furniture or people, and he's happy to skip the toys. Munch enjoys car rides and walks, and he's even done well in busy places like the farmers market and a festival, especially when using a no-pull harness. He's generally good with other dogs and mostly ignores cats, though he might give them a playful chase now and then. He's also a big fan of being brushed and behaves well at the groomer.

Ideal Home

Munch would do best in a home with children over 10 years old, as he can sometimes be a bit unaware of his body and might accidentally step on smaller feet or topple young children. He navigates steps with difficulty, often preferring to jump on and off higher surfaces like decks.

Ongoing Health

Munch has successfully completed his heartworm treatment. He has had ongoing ear issues, but recent cultures show only yeast, and he is being treated daily for a few more days.

Training & Support

Munch has a habit of barking to go outside, even if he's just been out. We're working on ignoring this behavior, and he's starting to quiet down more quickly. He's also fed treats like a horse, with treats given in the palm of a flat, outstretched hand.
