Charlie Brown is a curious and affectionate 50lb bundle of fun, estimated to be around one year old. He's a "Texas Special," a delightful mix of breeds that gives him a unique charm and a beautiful red coat. Charlie is already kennel and potty trained and possesses wonderful house manners, making him a prime candidate for further training and companionship. He thrives on being close to his people, whether lounging at your feet or exploring quiet trails. His absolute favorite thing in the world is belly rubs, and he's a master snuggler who loves to claim the couch as his own, often hiding his treasures there. Toys are a big hit with Charlie, so keep them stocked!
Ideal Home
Charlie would do well in a home with calm, kind, and patient canine companions, particularly a female dog, or he would be content as the sole dog if he has plenty of human interaction. He would prefer a home with thicker walls to accommodate his vocal nature when he misses his people, so apartments are not ideal. A backyard for sunbathing and stretching would be wonderful. Charlie would do best in a home without cats, as he is a bit too interested in them. He would also thrive with older, respectful children who understand the need to give a dog space and kindness.

Training & Support
Charlie can be a vocal dog when he misses his people, so a home with good soundproofing is recommended. He can also be a little nervous at first due to an unknown past, so patience and a gentle approach are key. He is a quick learner and eager to please, especially for his favorite toys and cuddles.
