Meet Spiro!

This handsome boy is believed to be around 2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. Spiro is a Black Mouth Cur mix with a personality as big as his name! He has stunning, sparkly eyes that make him a true head-turner, but his sweet and gentle nature is what truly steals hearts. Spiro was found as a stray in Texas and has been patiently waiting in the shelter since February for his forever home. Despite his circumstances, he remains hopeful and incredibly eager to connect with people. He’s a playful pup with a happy-go-lucky spirit, who loves to explore, play, and receive affection. Spiro is friendly with dogs and people, making him a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Spiro would thrive in a home that offers structure, patience, and lots of love. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but apartment or condo living may be considered for an adopter committed to meeting his exercise and mental enrichment needs. Spiro is not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is a must.

Ongoing Health

Spiro is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventatives. He is healthy and ready for his new life!

Training & Support

Spiro would benefit from continued guidance with house training, leash manners, and building confidence in new environments. Daily exercise, regular potty breaks, and mental enrichment will help him grow into a well-rounded companion.

Transporation

Spiro is currently located in Texas and will be transported to his adopter once adoption is finalized. Transport is included in the adoption fee.
