Meet Dafne Doo, a stunning 66 lb Siberian Husky with captivating blue eyes and an estimated birthday of December 15, 2023. Dafne is overflowing with love and joy, ready to bring her playful, affectionate spirit into your home. In true Husky fashion, she communicates her affection with delightful "talking" and the warmest hugs. She was rescued from a county shelter facing overcrowding and was scheduled for euthanasia despite being a healthy and happy dog, making her second chance at life incredibly precious.

Ideal Home

Dafne dreams of a family who cherishes daily walks as much as she does. She'd be thrilled with occasional trips to the beach or mountains, but her happiest adventures will always be by your side. Her love for swimming is Olympic-level, so a home with water access or a willingness to explore local swimming spots would be a huge bonus! Dafne gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially puppies, and her gentle, patient nature makes her a perfect companion for kids of all ages. While she adores everyone, she would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and shower you with all her love.

• Dafne is located in Houston, TX.
• Transport is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations may vary and can include nearby towns or states.
• We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed about tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
• Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
• Listed breed and age are based on a best-guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
• Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
• All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!

Dafne is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can extend to your state or a neighboring state. Pickup locations for transported dogs may vary.
