I may look like your average doodle... but I’m so much more than that.

Meet Rosie — a 2-year-old doodle mix (or at least that’s our best guess!) with the softest heart and a serious talent for snuggling.

Rosie was found as a stray and came to us a little underweight, but she’s already showing everyone what a resilient, loving girl she is. She’s enjoying regular meals, plenty of love, and is on her way to becoming her healthiest, happiest self.

This sweet girl is housebroken, crate trained, and gets along great with other dogs. She’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her people — whether that means cuddling on the couch, following you from room to room, or proudly carrying around her favorite squeaky toy.

Rosie isn’t looking for perfect. She’s just looking for someone to choose her.

This is a Pay It Forward dog. This means the adoption donation of $650 will help to save another pup needing rescue and vetting. If you are interested in this dog, please complete an adoption application.

Almost Home Foundation's adoption requirements:

(1) Be at least 21 years of age;

(2) Have the consent of all adults living in the household;

(3) Have approval from the residence owner;

(4) Have valid ID with current address;

(5) Be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home; and

(6) Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only)
