Cookie is a gentle and loving Labrador mix with a sweet, loyal nature. She's a wonderful companion who enjoys being close to her people and brings a calm, comforting energy to those around her. She gets along well with other dogs and children, making her an excellent family dog. Cookie can be a little nervous in new situations, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms and shows her trusting heart. One of her favorite pastimes is watching the world go by from a window, and she especially enjoys car rides and quiet moments at home. Cookie's resilience shines through, as she was born during freezing temperatures under a ruined house. Despite her tough start, she has grown into a loving dog ready for a safe, warm, and forever home.
Ideal Home
An active family that enjoys outdoor activities and owns their home with a fenced backyard. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, who have an open mind about rescued animals and understand their need for protection and education, are ideal. A high level of tolerance and patience for rescued puppies is also essential.
Ongoing Health
Cookie has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Cookie is not house-trained. The rescue invests significant effort in rehabilitating their animals, and it's not possible to house-train each one. Adopters should be prepared to provide ongoing patience and education.
