About Hoot

Meet Hoot! This fun-loving, active young pup is a bundle of joy who thrives on outdoor adventures, playtime, and the companionship of another dog. Hoot settles in nicely at night, often choosing to sleep near his people. He's already mastered being accident-free in his foster home and is crate trained. He's earned free-roam privileges when his foster is away because he's such a good boy! Hoot walks well on a leash and is just starting to learn basic obedience. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is okay with cats, though he can be a bit curious. Hoot can be a little shy and skittish if approached too quickly, and he might be a little reserved at first while building trust. He'll need a patient adopter who understands that confidence grows with time and consistency. A secure fenced yard and continued leash or harness use in public will help him feel safe as he blossoms. Hoot was found abandoned but is now learning what safety, stability, and love feel like, and he's ready to find a forever family to continue his growth. Hoot was born in December 2024.

Ideal Home
