Meet Ivan, the Iconic! He's a year and a half old, 50-pound goofball with the biggest ears and an even bigger heart. This handsome pittie/staffy-mix (rescue guess!) is all wiggly enthusiasm, silly charm, and sweet, squishy good looks. He absolutely loves life, and his favorite things include toys of all shapes and sizes, playing fetch (though he may decide to keep the ball sometimes!), and splashing in water. Ivan is a warm-hearted boy who quickly melts into a cuddle bug once he bonds with his person, offering snuggles and leaning in for belly rubs. He's treat-motivated and eager to learn, making training a fun and rewarding experience.
Ideal Home
Ivan would thrive in a home with a medium-energy female dog who enjoys play but can also set boundaries when needed. He needs a feline-free home as he tends to see cats as fun chase targets. Older children who won't be overwhelmed by his energetic zoomies would be a great fit, though with time and guidance, he could learn to give younger children space. A yard for him to burn energy and an active adopter who enjoys training and play with clear boundaries and routine would be ideal.

Training & Support
Ivan is still young and energetic and sometimes gets a little too excited during play with other dogs. He responds well to guidance from his people or other dogs to take breaks and check in. While he can be a bit much for mellow or insecure dogs, he's learning to read social cues. With consistent training and clear boundaries, he will continue to develop his manners.

Transporation
Ivan is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
