Venus

Venus is a big, sweet girl under a year old and already weighing in at 50-60lbs! She's a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love to give, eager to shower her new family with kisses and tail wags. Venus is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She's also a natural protector, letting out a few "boofs" to alert you of visitors, but melts into sweetness once they're inside.

Ideal Home

Venus does wonderfully with other dogs, provided they are properly introduced. She enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes. While she can be vocal towards animals on the other side of fences or kennels, she's incredibly sweet and gentle with her resident pets, including cats and smaller dogs. She has even been observed playing with our senior Great Dane resident. We do not know her history with chickens, but she's a quick learner and might be a great candidate for farm life with a bit of training.

Venus is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Venus is already house-trained and crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. She has a natural protective instinct and may bark at strangers from a distance, but she quickly warms up. With her eagerness to please, she's likely to excel with additional training.
