Barney

Barney is a 12-pound, neutered male terrier mix looking for his furever home. He is wonderful with other dogs and children, and is housebroken and quite friendly.

Ideal Home

Barney would do best in a home ready to welcome him now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have all family members in agreement about adopting. While we don't have blanket criteria, we consider breed experience, yard (visible fence preferred), and other animals in the home. We generally avoid placing dogs in same-sex households as they can sometimes do best in different gender dynamics.

Ongoing Health

All animals are up to date on age-appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heartworm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped, and have a current health certificate.

Training & Support

Proof of a basic obedience course completion is required as part of our adoption contract within six months.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Your vet and two references will be called.
• A virtual home visit will be conducted.
• Once approved, a meet and greet at the farm will take place.
• If all are in agreement, an adoption contract will be signed and the adoption fee paid.
• Adoption fees for adult dogs are $500.

Transporation

Barney is located at our farm and can be met by appointment only. Please dress accordingly as meetings are typically outdoors.
