Thoreau

Thoreau is a shy but sweet 3-year-old, 19lb tri-color terrier mix. He was brought to us by our Humane Law Enforcement team. While Thoreau can be a bit hesitant with new people, he quickly warms up with tasty treats and a patient approach. He's already mastered crate-training and enjoys enrichment toys like snuffle mats and frozen Kongs. We're confident he'll master leashed walking with positive reinforcement and encouragement! Thoreau is looking for a home where he can build relationships at his own pace and where any children are old enough to understand and respect canine body language.
