Arthur

Meet Arthur, a sweet senior Cocker Spaniel with a heart full of love to give. This 13-year-old, 27-pound gentleman was found in rough shape, suffering from a long-overdue groom, ear and eye infections, rotting teeth, and a cherry eye. Despite his challenges, Arthur is living his best life, spending his days napping on his comfy bed. He's a quiet sleeper with a housebroken system, though his slow pace means he might need a little help getting to the door. Arthur is hard of hearing and has limited vision in one eye, but his keen sense of smell helps him navigate and connect with his favorite people. He thrives on a special diet for sensitive stomachs and would do best in a calm environment with someone who is home most of the day. Arthur finds crating stressful, so he's a "no crate" dog who is just looking for a loving lap to warm. He enjoys cuddling and sleeping with his foster mom and would surely appreciate a cozy retirement.

Arthur would do best in a home with a slower pace and someone who is home for most of the day. He is a "no crate" dog.

Ongoing Health

Arthur has a cherry eye and requires over-the-counter eye wetting drops 4-6 times daily, as well as eye gel morning and night. He also needs a sensitive stomach food diet. He has not been fully vetted.

Training & Support

Arthur is housebroken but walks slowly. He is hard of hearing and has vision impairment in one eye. He gets stressed when crated.
