Augie is a handsome 1.5 to 2-year-old Border Collie mix weighing about 55 lbs. He's a smart, playful, and loyal companion who's eager to learn and love. Augie is working on becoming the best dog he can be with his foster family. He's already mastered potty training using a bell to signal when he needs to go outside, and he sits patiently for meals and when getting his leash on and off. Augie loves to learn and play, especially enjoying games like hide-and-seek with his plushie friends. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night and is ready to start the day with enthusiasm each morning.

Ideal Home

Augie can be a little unsure around new people, so he would thrive in a home that can provide him with proper introductions and patience. He does well with older children who are gentle and respectful. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

Augie is currently healthy and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Augie is a quick learner and enjoys training activities. He is already house-trained and knows basic commands like "sit." Continuing to provide him with positive reinforcement and engaging playtime will help him continue to thrive.
