CHASE- Needs a foster/forever home!

Chase, born in 2021, is a handsome Boxer mix who spent his early life at the end of a chain. Despite a tough start, he's a wonderful companion eager to please, especially with praise! He loves to snuggle, play with chew toys, and zoom around the yard. Chase can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes a devoted buddy.

Ideal Home

Chase would be happiest as the only dog in the home, but may do well with a large dog after a very slow introduction. He is not a good fit for homes with small dogs or cats. He would do best with children aged 10 and older. A completely enclosed, physically fenced yard is required for his safety and enjoyment. Chase needs an active person or couple to be his companion.

Ongoing Health

Chase was found to be heartworm positive and has completed treatment. He will require monthly heartworm preventative (Heartgard) for the rest of his life. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Chase is house and crate trained and responds well to praise. He is eager to please and will benefit from continued guidance and a gentle hand to teach him. We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year to attend one obedience class (6-week session) outside the home.
