Thunder The Zesty Bestie

Thunder is a 10-month-old bundle of zest, weighing in at about 40 pounds. He's a handsome mix, possibly Pit Bull or Lab Retriever, but what truly matters is that he's an adorable pup in need of a loving home. Sadly, puppies in his area are at a high risk, and choosing to adopt Thunder means saving his life and creating space for another dog to be rescued.

Thunder is a social butterfly, described as playful, sweet, curious, and incredibly cuddly. He adores everyone he meets and thrives on companionship. He's a pro at fetch and equally enjoys a good snuggle session. Thunder also lives harmoniously with three cats and is already a pro at "sit" and "wait." He's crate trained and potty trained, making him a joy to have around.

Training & Support

Thunder is still young and will require a family committed to continued training, socialization, and the patience that puppyhood demands. Consistent routine, structure, boundaries, and positive social experiences are crucial for raising a confident and well-rounded adult dog. We require adopters to continue crate training upon arrival home to support potty training, energy management, and long-term success.

Transportation

Thunder is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. There is an $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
