Penny Love The Easy Going Lovebug

Penny Love is a sweet, easygoing Lab mix, estimated to be around 1.5 years old and weighing 70 lbs. She has an effortless charm and a calm, loving presence that makes her feel like an instant classic. Penny is a rescue dog, so her exact breed and age are a mystery. She's been an absolute dream in her foster home, possessing a rare "old soul" vibe that makes her incredibly comforting to be around. While she loves to be near her people, she's not clingy and enjoys her own space.

Ideal Home

Penny Love would do best in a home with a calm, mature male dog who respects her space and doesn't demand constant play. She is also cat-friendly and would do well with aloof cats who keep to themselves. A home with a nice big backyard would be wonderful for her to roam and play, but she could also potentially thrive in an apartment due to her mellow nature.

Ongoing Health

Penny Love is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also had a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Penny Love is potty trained and is working on becoming more comfortable with a crate. She is learning basic commands such as "sit" and is eager to please. She enjoys casual strolls and is a great companion for relaxing at home.

Transporation

Penny Love is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
