About Robin

Robin is a handsome and lanky 1.5-year-old, 37 lb male Aussie Cattle Dog mix who is searching for his forever best friend and sidekick! Sadly, Robin was abandoned by his previous family and left to fend for himself. Thankfully, his charming personality and sweet nature helped him find a foster home where he's been showering his caregivers with love and kisses. He gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs, including a new foster puppy, and he absolutely adores children. He might be best suited for homes with children over 8, as he can get a little too excited and offer unsolicited sloppy kisses. However, with a bit of positive reinforcement training, this clever boy will quickly learn the importance of keeping all four paws on the floor. Robin is already crate and potty trained and is making great progress with leash training, though he may pull a bit due to his eagerness to meet new people. He truly just wants to be your loyal buddy. Because he experienced abandonment, Robin may need a little extra time and reassurance to feel completely settled and secure in his new home, but he is incredibly worth the wait. He would likely thrive in an active household where he can expend his youthful energy through runs, hikes, or doggy playdates. Robin's perfect day probably involves a brisk walk, making some new friends, and then heading home for a cozy nap by your side.

Ideal Home

Robin would likely do best in a more active home where he can get plenty of exercise. He adores children and may do better with older kids (over 8) due to his enthusiastic greetings.
