Duncan

Duncan is a sweet and playful boy, about 1 year old and weighing 19 lbs. He's a typical mixed breed with a lot of Chihuahua in him! Duncan loves his squeaky toys, enjoys lots of petting and attention, and gets along well with other dogs. He's a quiet and well-behaved little guy who seems to be pretty house-trained and walks nicely on a leash, though he could benefit from a little more training.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of attention and playtime. Please note that we do not adopt to homes with children under the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has completed treatment according to The American Heartworm Society protocols and is typically expected to test negative within 4 to 6 months. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Canine Influenza), and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is pretty well house-trained and does well on a leash, but could use a little more training to perfect his skills.
