Gloria is a magnificent girl, weighing in at approximately 70 pounds, with a heart that's even larger than her frame! She's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and playful, always eager to be a part of the action and make new friends. Gloria is a social butterfly who checks in with her humans often, ensuring everyone is doing well. She absolutely adores belly rubs, back scratches, butt scratches, and a good brushing session. After some fun and attention, she's content to relax and nap indoors. Her easygoing nature shines with children, as she's been wonderfully gentle and affectionate with the kids she's met.
Gloria has settled into her foster home beautifully over the past three weeks, post-spay and retirement from motherhood. She took just a few days to observe routines, get acquainted with her foster family and their resident pets, and then made herself right at home. She quickly bonded with the other dogs and has proven to be a fantastic companion.
Ideal Home
Gloria would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can run, play, and stretch her long legs. She prefers cooler weather and would likely be happiest in a more temperate or northern climate where she can enjoy outdoor adventures year-round without overheating in the Texas heat.

Gloria is fully vetted, microchipped, and received a 12-month Pro-Heart shot for heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Gloria is a responsive and well-mannered house guest. She is crate trained, potty trained, nondestructive, and sleeps soundly through the night. Her gentle, submissive nature makes her very receptive to verbal guidance. Gloria does live with cats and has shown she can coexist successfully with dog-friendly, confident feline companions. Slow introductions and proper management will be key to a smooth transition into a home with cats.

Gloria is currently located in Texas. For out-of-state adopters, Gloria can travel safely with our trusted transport partners, Freedom Run Express or Tigger's Texas Transport. We adopt to multiple states to help each dog find their perfect forever home.
