Misty

Meet Misty! She's a sweet 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Misty is a bit on the quiet and shy side, but once she warms up to you, she's incredibly affectionate. She's a polite companion who gets along well with cats and other dogs without any issues. She would likely do best with children who are past their toddler years.

Ideal Home

Misty would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, which is a requirement. She needs a family who appreciates calm and gentle dogs and has the patience to let her bloom at her own pace. A comfy spot on the sofa would be a wonderful bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this may sound concerning, it simply means she needs to use a chest harness for walks and can't use a traditional collar with a leash. With the correct harness, she's safe and comfortable, only occasionally coughing if it's not fitted perfectly.

Training & Support

Misty is a gentle soul who doesn't tend to get into mischief. Her new family should be prepared to offer her kindness, patience, and time to adjust and feel secure.
