Miracle "Hot Wheels"

Miracle, also known as "Hot Wheels," is an incredibly resilient and joyful dog who has overcome immense challenges. Despite losing a leg and undergoing extensive surgeries and treatments, he approaches life with an infectious enthusiasm. He loves his walks in his wheelchair, zooms around the yard, and even engages in playful tug-of-war with his much larger foster siblings. He finds great pleasure in simple things like ear rubs, cooling off in his splash pad, and spinning with excitement when he's happy. Miracle is a true testament to the power of the human-animal bond, and he's ready to share his boundless love with his forever family.

Ideal Home

Miracle would thrive in a home where he can continue to enjoy his active lifestyle with his wheelchair. He has shown no reaction to cats when encountered outdoors and may need a short introduction to any new resident pets.

Ongoing Health

Miracle has undergone significant medical procedures, including back surgery, limb repair, and amputation due to a flesh-eating bacteria infection. He is managing well but may sometimes dribble urine or have accidents when excited or sleeping. He uses diapers and belly bands, which may occasionally slide off due to his missing leg.

Training & Support

Miracle is a smart and adaptable dog who is willing to learn. He seems to have a good understanding of social dynamics with other dogs. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will help him continue to adjust and thrive in his new home.
