Meet Casper!
Casper is a 10-week-old mixed breed sweetheart weighing in at just 8 pounds of pure puppy charm. With his soft white and cream coat and those bright, curious eyes, he looks like a little cloud that decided to grow legs and hop right into your heart. This tiny gentleman is still waiting for his neuter appointment on the 9th, but he’s already working hard on becoming the best boy he can be. Casper knows sit, down, stay, come, and leave it — pretty impressive for such a young pup! He responds to verbal correction (usually by scampering off to regroup), and he’s eager to please. Casper’s personality is a perfect mix of sweet and silly. He’s affectionate, friendly, loves kisses, and happily doubles as a lap puppy after he’s done playing. One of the most endearing things about him? The way he hops when he’s excited — it’s impossible not to smile watching him bounce around. He enjoys the simple things in life: eating, napping, and a good game of tug-of-war. He’s most active during the daytime and settles nicely in the evening. He is crate trained and currently working on potty training — like any baby, he’ll need patience and consistency as he learns.
Ideal Home
Casper can be a little shy when meeting new people and is sensitive to loud noises, often choosing to hide until he feels safe again. Because of this, he would thrive in a loving, patient home that helps him build confidence at his own pace. He does great with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine buddy to show him the ropes. Cats are unknown at this time. A fenced yard (chain link or privacy) is required so this little guy can safely explore. He’s not leash trained yet, so continued guidance will help him grow into a confident walking companion.
Ongoing Health
Casper will be neutered and given age-appropriate vaccinations on March 9.
Training & Support
Casper is crate trained and currently working on potty training. He responds well to verbal correction and is eager to please. He is not leash trained yet, and will need continued guidance to become a confident walking companion.
