Mailman is a large, adult male Pit Bull Terrier mix with short, white and cream fur with apricot and beige markings. He's a playful, affectionate, and athletic boy who loves to be a couch potato too! Mailman can be a bit anxious and over-aroused, which may cause him to pull strongly on the leash, jump, and mount people. Because of this, he's not recommended for homes with small children or frail adults. He would do best with an experienced adopter or rescue who can provide consistent training, socialization, and desensitization. Mailman seems friendly with people and may be tolerant of other dogs, but his mounting behavior during dog-to-dog interactions suggests he might struggle in close living situations with another dog. Further evaluation is recommended to better understand his sociability. Overall, Mailman is a wonderful candidate for adoption with the right structure and guidance!
