Meet Cachetona, a tiny terrier with a big heart and an even bigger personality!

Cachetona was found lying in the road in La Cruz, dangerously close to being hit. A volunteer stopped to help and discovered she belonged to a nearby mechanic shop. Her owner agreed to relinquish her, and this sweet girl finally got the chance she deserved. She is a loyal little girl who just wants a peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved. If you are looking for a one-on-one companion with tons of heart, she is ready.

Ideal Home

Cachetona prefers a quiet home with teens or adults and does not enjoy dogs in her space, needing a low-dog-traffic home. She is best as an only dog or with one calm, older dog.

Ongoing Health

Cachetona is a heartworm survivor and has been fully treated and is now heartworm negative.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
