Meet Mika — a six-year-old sweetheart with the soul of a little old lady and the heart of your next best friend. Mika has perfected the art of being the easiest, most lovable companion. She’s completely house trained, confidently uses the doggy door, and has never had an accident inside. She’s not much of a barker, but when she’s excited, she lets out the cutest little low growl to “chat” with you. Her signature move is almost always carrying a toy around in her mouth like it’s her prized possession.
Mika is a professional napper and cozy enthusiast. She adores her dog bed, and when the weather gets chilly, she loves to be tucked in with a blanket. Because her hips are a bit weak, stairs aren’t her favorite thing and she’s definitely not training for a marathon anytime soon. She does enjoy nice, easy strolls and is happiest just staying close to her person. She is content to supervise and keep company while you do chores.
Mika is calm and easygoing with other dogs and peacefully lived alongside two pups during her time in foster care. With her laid-back personality, it’s hard to imagine much bothering her. Mika is the definition of low-maintenance love. She absolutely melts for pets and scratches — especially booty scratches, which are her absolute favorite. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal, toy-carrying cuddle buddy who just wants to be near you, Mika is your girl.
Ideal Home
A home where she can enjoy easy strolls and plenty of cozy naps. Stairs are not her favorite.
