My name's Red, and I'm a 3-year, 9-month-old guy with a whole lot of love just waiting to be shared. I ended up at Stray Haven after being found wandering the streets on my own, and no one ever came to claim me—but I haven't let that stop me from being the happy, people-loving dog I am today. I love people of all ages—kids, adults, everyone! Whether we're going for long walks, hopping in the car for an adventure, or just hanging out together, I'm happiest when I'm by your side. I've got a fun, goofy personality too—I love playing with toys, running around outside, and making my humans smile.

Ideal Home

I'll be honest—I like having my people all to myself. While I've done okay in some dog playgroups, I'd do best as the only pet in the home. No cats for me, please! I promise I have more than enough love and personality to fill your home all on my own.

Ongoing Health

I do have a flea allergy, which can make me itchy if not managed. The good news? It's super easy to keep under control! I just need to stay on year-round, vet-approved flea prevention so I can stay comfortable, happy, and itch-free. I'm up to date on my vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

The staff here absolutely adore me, but what I really want is a family to call my own. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will stick by your side through everything, I might just be your perfect match.

Transportation

I am currently at Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA, located at 194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892. We are open Tuesday-Friday 10 am-5 pm and Saturday-Sunday 10 am-4 pm. We are closed on Mondays.
