Hi there! My name is Bandit, and I'm a wonderfully unique female German Shepherd with a dash of Husky flair. I'm about 71 pounds and still growing into my big paws! My foster parents discovered my parents' DNA: Mom is 100% German Shepherd, and Dad is 81% German Shepherd with 19% Husky, which clearly explains my stunning looks. I was born on July 21, 2025. I'm already spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccines and preventatives.
My foster parents say I'm a sweetheart who loves to snuggle and give kisses. I also adore the foster grandkids, who are 4 and 8 years old. Sometimes I get a little overexcited and might accidentally knock over the little ones, but I always make up for it with plenty of kisses! I'm house-trained and love using the doggy door. My favorite games include chasing balls, chewing on bones, and playing with my siblings. I'm also great friends with a Great Dane, so I can definitely keep up with the big dogs! I do tend to make stuffed toys disappear very quickly – my specialty is turning them into a winter wonderland!
Ideal Home
I'm looking for an active family who enjoys playtime and spending time outdoors. I love to play fetch and would do well in a home that can keep up with my energy. I'm not sure how I'd do with a cat, as the outdoor cat here prefers to keep their distance, but I'm a total sweetheart with people!
Ongoing Health
I'm spayed, microchipped, and current on all my vaccines and preventions. I was a perfect patient when I had my procedures done and took all my medicine like a champ, especially when it was hidden in some yummy wet food!
Training & Support
I'm not crate-trained yet, but my foster family is working with me. I'm also getting more comfortable meeting new people and am learning leash training. I can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, encouragement, and a few treats, I warm up quickly!
