About Barry White Kissy Boy
Meet Barry White!
Some dogs are cool. Some dogs are cuddly. Some dogs are goofy. Barry White somehow managed to be all three. Barry is a 6-month-old Pit Bull/Lab mix (or at least that's our best guess) with a heart full of love, a face made for kisses, and a personality that makes it impossible not to smile.
With his soft puppy eyes, adorable smile, floppy ears, and sweet expression, Barry has mastered the art of looking at people like they're the greatest thing he's ever seen. And honestly? He kind of thinks they are.
Watch Barry's kisses firsthand in his video! https://youtu.be/FzhcoKf4YG0?si=FCt2zVlDHcfrmxa6
Barry absolutely loves people. He loves being near them. He loves leaning on them. He loves climbing into their laps. He loves giving kisses. If Barry could somehow combine all of those activities into one giant cuddle session, he absolutely would. One of his favorite things to do is gently lean against you while soaking up attention. He'll sit there completely content, gazing up at you with those sweet puppy eyes as if he's won the lottery simply because someone is petting him.
And while Barry is a world-class cuddle bug, don't let that fool youhe's still a puppy. Every now and then his silly side comes flying out. He'll grab a toy, bounce around the yard, wrestle with a dog friend, or take off on a joyful little zoomie adventure. Watching Barry play is guaranteed to make you laugh because he still has that goofy, happy baby energy that reminds you he's only six months old.
The best part? As soon as playtime is over, he's right back in your lap acting like he hasn't been causing adorable chaos five minutes earlier. Barry is the definition of balanced. He's playful without being overwhelming. Affectionate without being clingy. Active enough to enjoy adventures but relaxed enough to spend the evening cuddled up on the couch.
With other dogs, Barry is more of a slow-burn friendship kind of guy. He gets along well with other dogs but likes a little time to get comfortable before jumping into play. Once he settles in, he enjoys having dog friends around and could do well either with another friendly dog or as the center of attention in a home of his own.
Barry also did wonderfully meeting a kitty. His first instinct seemed to be introducing himself with kisses, which is pretty on-brand for him. While he'd still benefit from proper introductions and dog-savvy cats, he showed sweet, respectful behavior and all the signs of being a very polite housemate.
He's also spent time around teenagers and has been incredibly loving, gentle, and respectful. Everyone he meets seems to receive the full Barry White Welcome Package: tail wags, puppy eyes, and unlimited kisses.
One thing Barry is still learning is leash walking. Right now he thinks there are much more interesting things in life than walking politely on a leash. The good news is that he's still young, eager to learn, and food motivated, making this a great age to continue building confidence and skills.
At just 6 months old, Barry is still discovering the world and figuring out who he wants to be. What we already know is that he's sweet, silly, affectionate, gentle, and absolutely overflowing with love. If you're looking for a puppy who will make you laugh, cover you in kisses, snuggle like a professional, and become your very best friend, Barry White might just be your perfect match.
