Toby

Toby is a beautiful beagle mix who was born at SPARRO to a mom who came to us pregnant during COVID. She's a wonderful dog who has become a favorite here, even sleeping with her caretaker at night. While Toby has always been good, she has become selective about the people she likes. She used to be friendly with everyone, but has decided that one of her caretakers is no longer part of her circle, exhibiting barking and growling when she is near. This has led to the decision that she needs a special home. She is very friendly and playful with people she likes, but can be selective.

Ideal Home

Toby would do best in a home without frequent visitors, as she can be selective of the people she likes. An active family without young children would be ideal, and a fenced yard is a must so she can run and play safely.

Ongoing Health

Toby is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Toby is house-trained and crate-trained. She sleeps in her crate at night with no issues. She may need continued support in managing her selectivity with new people.
