Meet Tyson!

Tyson is a 3-year-old, 73 lb Staffy mix with a heart as big as his snuggles. He's a sweet and goofy guy who was sadly left behind when his previous family moved. After spending nearly two years at a sanctuary, Tyson found his way into a loving foster home and is now eagerly awaiting his forever family. Tyson's favorite pastime is cuddling; he'll soak up every belly rub and snuggle session you can offer. He's incredibly affectionate and social with people, always wanting to be near his humans. With mild energy and a laid-back personality, Tyson is content to relax after a short walk or just lounge around the house. He's both mindful of his surroundings and delightfully goofy, often sporting a grin that's sure to melt your heart. Tyson is already housebroken and crate trained, having mastered the basics.

Ideal Home

Tyson is currently thriving in a single-story home with a small yard and would do well in a calm or moderately active environment. He's looking for a person or family who wants a loyal, low-maintenance cuddle buddy who is happy just to be near their people. While we're not sure how he is with cats or children, he has been very respectful and quiet indoors.

Ongoing Health

Tyson has moderate anxiety, but does not show signs of separation anxiety.

Training & Support

Tyson has the capability to get along with dogs outside of the home with proper introductions. In the home, he would thrive as the only pet. He is still building confidence out in the world and would benefit from slow socialization with other dogs over time.

Transporation

Tyson is currently located in Texas and transport to the Pacific Northwest is available.
