Baylor Banjo is a wonderfully well-balanced boy with a can-do attitude and a heart full of love! He's a medium-sized, sleek, and sporty 50-pound companion who's ready to be your loyal best friend. Baylor is genuinely good, respectful, and incredibly thankful for his rescue. He longs to be a part of a family and will keep himself entertained with toys, making life easy for you. Whether you need a coffee-buddy to lounge with or a playful partner for backyard adventures, Baylor is game! He's a perfect car rider, tolerates hats and sunglasses with a smile, and boasts excellent house manners.
Ideal Home
Baylor would love a family with children to play with, as he is wonderful with kids of all ages, even as young as 4. He enjoys sharing his toys, playing tug-of-war, and giving sweet kisses. While he is generally gentle, he may occasionally need reminders about personal space with very young children, as his affection can be overwhelming sometimes, but he learns boundaries quickly. Baylor would do best in a home without cats.

Training & Support
Baylor is a highly trainable and self-entertaining dog, motivated by toys and treats. He learns quickly and is easily focused for training sessions. He has already mastered "sit" and "wait," which are excellent for leash-up routines. While he's friendly towards people, he's been taught not to greet them without permission. He is also dog-friendly and loves to play! He enjoys wrestling and chasing with other dogs and is happiest with playful energy. He would do best with a confident, playful male dog similar in temperament to his large German Shepherd friend, Rocky, who enjoys wrestling, chasing, and knows when to take play breaks.

Transportation
Baylor is located in Texas and can be transported across the US via our USDA licensed vehicles. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. You can follow your pup's transport journey on our private Facebook event page.
