Meet Belle! This sweet 53-pound pup will be one year old on January 6, 2026. Belle was rescued off the streets of Houston, TX during a freeze with her mom and siblings. She's now in a foster home and ready to find her forever family! Belle is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for her new adventure.
Ideal Home
Belle is a young pup with a moderate energy level. She loves to run and play with other dogs but also enjoys quiet cuddles on the couch. She's great with children and has been very gentle with the 6-year-old and 20-month-old she's frequently around. While she previously lived with cats as a puppy, a cat test can be arranged for potential adopters with feline friends. Belle is not a fan of small dogs and has shown food aggression towards the small dog in her foster home. She has never displayed this behavior towards people, children, or the larger dog in her foster home.
Ongoing Health
Belle is fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Training & Support
Belle is fully potty trained and crate trained. She does well in her crate when her foster family is away. She walks calmly on leash and enjoys car rides. The only behavior to be mindful of is her food aggression specifically towards small dogs.
