Maverick

Maverick is a handsome, friendly senior dog who is a calm and sweet companion. He's easy on the leash and was happy to meet new people and go for walks. Maverick knows how to sit for treats, enjoys pets, and is agreeable when asked to do things. He is house-trained but will need frequent potty breaks. While Maverick doesn't like being picked up, this is understandable for an 11-year-old, 53-pound dog. He can be selective with other dog friends but is great with kids. Maverick's coat is gorgeous and soft, so his adopter should enjoy brushing him. He's a sweet, well-behaved boy who will make a wonderful addition to a loving home.

Maverick would thrive in a home that can accommodate his need for frequent potty breaks and has an adopter who enjoys regular grooming. He is good with children.
