Meet Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping! This beautiful 1-year-old, 55lb German Shepherd mix is a true testament to resilience and love. Bella was found tied to a post, abandoned but not broken. She has since blossomed into an affectionate, spirited, and wonderfully silly companion who is ready to find her forever family. Bella is fully vetted, including being spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention, making her healthy and ready for a fresh start.
Ideal Home
Bella is looking for an active home that will provide her with continued training, daily exercise, and plenty of affection. She thrives with mental stimulation through fun training games and loves an active lifestyle. While Bella lives with cats and is learning to respect their space, she currently views them as chaseable. She'll need a home that understands she needs to be kept separate from cats for now and will benefit from structure and plenty of activities to prevent chewing on inappropriate items when bored.
Ongoing Health
Bella is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and preventative care, including being spayed and microchipped. She is a healthy and happy girl.
Training & Support
Bella is a smart girl who is eager to please! She walks nicely on a harness, knows "sit" and "stay," and is house-trained and crate-trained. She is learning not to jump, as she just gets excited! Bella's absolute favorite is a frozen peanut butter Kong, which she proudly takes to her crate. She can be prone to chewing when bored, so plenty of appropriate toys and engaging activities are key to her success.

Transportation
Bella is an "out of town pet" and is not at the current location. Our rescue is based in Houston, Texas. We arrange transport for our dogs to approved adopters. Once everything is approved, dogs are scheduled for transport via air-conditioned/heated vans from our ranch in Fulshear, TX, to a location near you. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog's journey, with updates on their exact location and estimated time of arrival. Drivers take breaks for the dogs and provide updates on any delays. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
