Mater

Meet Mater, a lively and affectionate mixed-breed puppy who loves people, other dogs, and his next adventure. He enjoys supervised play, walks, training, puzzle toys, enrichment, naps, and relaxing with his family. Mater is food motivated, playful, and eager to learn.

Ideal Home

Mater would thrive with a patient family committed to continued training, socialization, exercise, and positive reinforcement. He enjoys canine companionship and would benefit from well-socialized adult dogs who can help teach him appropriate play manners.

Ongoing Health

Mater is fully vetted and vaccinated. His $300 adoption fee includes vetting through the program.

Training & Support

Mater is crate trained and settles after a few minutes, especially with a Kong or chew. He is still working on house training and learning to communicate consistently when he needs to go outside. He responds well to positive reinforcement and rarely barks.
