Solstice

Solstice is a shy but incredibly sweet young dog who is ready to find her forever home. She arrived in our program as a new mother, caring for eight puppies, and has also been undergoing treatment for heartworm. Now that her puppies are settled and she's on the mend, it's her turn to find a loving family. Solstice is quiet and a bit unsure with new people, but she shows a strong desire to make friends with everyone she meets, including most dogs.

Ideal Home

Solstice would thrive in a calm, predictable home environment. While she can enjoy playful moments once she's comfortable, a quieter setting would be best for her. She is nervous around cats and would do best in a home without feline companions.

Ongoing Health

Solstice is recovering from heartworm and has been successfully treated.

Training & Support

A gentle hand and patience will help Solstice gain confidence and blossom. She can be nervous but loves car rides once she's comfortable.
