Hot Potato is pure puppy energy in motion! This bold, goofy, five-month-old pup is endlessly entertained by everything around him, viewing life as one big game. Toys, people, shadows, and leaves – he meets it all with enthusiastic interest and zero hesitation. He deeply loves people, greeting the world like a long-lost best friend. Hot Potato is wiggly, expressive, and full of joy, with no concept of personal space in the most endearing puppy way. After bursts of play, he's just as quick to flop over and demand belly rubs, settling into complete happiness when he's in your arms or at your feet. There's a big heart behind all that energy; he's social, affectionate, and eager to connect, wanting to be involved and part of the action. With consistency and structure, he'll grow into an engaging companion who keeps life active and full of laughter.

Ongoing Health
All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary. He will also receive a microchip with free lifetime registration and a health certificate deeming him healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Hot Potato is receiving specialized training and behavioral assessments from our on-staff trainers. This includes crate training, potty training, and leash walking. He also participates in socialization playgroups to help him stay well-rounded and adoption-ready.

Hot Potato is currently located in Texas. Wags facilitates adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. This ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track their journey in real-time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
