Amigo

Amigo is an approximately 5-year-old, 40-pound Rotti mix who is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He's a sweet and playful boy who can be a bit nervous with new situations, but he's very affectionate and eager to please. Amigo was rescued from the streets of Tecate, where he was neglected and malnourished. He also suffered from TVT and a broken paw from an old injury. Thankfully, he's now in a loving foster home, his TVT has been treated, and while he still limps, he is pain-free. He gets along well with most dogs, and we suggest he'd do best with a female canine companion. He's also good with adults and older children. Amigo has a lot of love to give and is looking for a family that can offer him the patience, affection, and attention he deserves. He's ready to become a cherished member of your family!

Ongoing Health

Amigo has a previously broken paw and still limps, but he is pain-free as of February 2024. His TVT has been treated.

Training & Support

Amigo is crate trained but needs patience and practice with potty and leash training. With a little guidance, he'll be a pro in no time!
