BENJI 2 (Playful, Independent, Loves Dogs and People and Handsome)

Benji is a stunning golden-tan Chihuahua mix with the most beautiful light green eyes you've ever seen! His long legs make him look bigger in photos, but he's actually just 12 pounds of love and personality. He has four little white socks on his feet that make him even cuter and freckles on his nose! Benji came into rescue simply because his previous owners allowed their dog to get pregnant but never truly wanted the puppies. Despite that, this sweet boy has nothing but love to give and is ready for a family who will finally choose him forever. Benji loves people and does great with other dogs. His favorite things are playing tug, running around with his doggy friends, and carrying his beloved stuffie toys everywhere he goes. He isn't much of a barker, rides wonderfully in the car, and enjoys being part of whatever his people are doing. He may give a bark when someone new arrives, but it's just his way of checking things out. Benji is sweet, playful, and full of charm and now he just needs a family who truly wants him and will love him for life. Ideal Home

Benji would thrive in an active home that will keep his smart little mind busy. He loves playing tug and running around with other dogs.

Benji is neutered, microchipped, and current on his shots.

Training & Support

Benji is crate trained and currently working on house training. He does okay on leash. He may give a bark when someone new arrives, but it's just his way of checking things out. Because he has long legs and can jump, he might love agility training.
