Reese is a 1-year-old, 59-pound Alaskan Husky with a joyful spirit and a gentle, affectionate nature. He was found on the streets of Harris County, TX, and brought to a busy shelter. Despite his past, Reese trusts people and has a heart full of love. He is excellent with both people and other dogs, always eager to connect. Reese walks beautifully on a leash, is treat-motivated, and knows how to sit. He has a charming habit of jumping up for more pets, showing his desire for affection. Reese loves being touched and thrives on human connection.

An active home is preferred to help meet the exercise needs typical of his breed.

Ongoing Health

Reese is up to date on all vaccines and neutered. He tested positive for heartworm and has started slow-kill treatment and is recovering.

Training & Support

Reese will happily jump up to ask for more pets, so consistent redirection will help him learn. With the right outlet for his energy, Reese will shine as a loyal, devoted companion.
