Lexi is a sweet, gentle girl with a big heart and an even bigger capacity to love. She adores being close to her people and is happiest when she's curled up beside you on the couch, resting at your feet, or giving you gentle kisses. If there's a comfy chair, couch, or bed nearby, you can bet Lexi has already claimed the best spot! She's playful, especially with other dogs outside of the home. Inside the home, she prefers to be the only dog but may do well with a cat. One of her favorite things is running around the backyard, where her playful personality really shines, especially when the zoomies kick in. Lexi is still building confidence on walks. She's a curious girl who likes to stop and take in everything around her, and unfamiliar sights and sounds can sometimes make her feel unsure. With patience, encouragement, and continued positive experiences, she's making gradual progress, but she truly seems happiest exploring the safety and familiarity of a fenced yard at her own pace. At home, Lexi is fully house trained and loves being part of the family. She forms deep bonds with her people and thrives in a home where she can enjoy companionship, a predictable routine, and plenty of love. Lexi has had a positive introduction to a cat, calmly sharing space without much interest, so a cat-savvy home may be a possibility with slow introductions.
