Do you remember walking into the candy store as a child and the feeling you had when your parent brought you a Twinkie? Well, that feeling is alive and well in our sweet, treat Twinkie the pup!
At 10 months old and fully grown at 29 lbs, Twinkie is the perfect petite with a personality much bigger than she is! Twinkie is teeny but her lovely, joyous, goofily charming nature and silly smiles overflow from her little body. Outside of being an absolutely pleasure of a dog, Twinkie is fully housebroken, crate trained and the most polite housemate happy to self play and entertain herself when her foster mom is busy working or handling household chores.
Even though it may seem like Twinkie couldn't be any friendlier than she is with humans, her true love language is dogs - all dogs, any dog, no matter the size or appearance. Twinkie loves having dog friends and will make a wonderful companion to a home with a pre-existing resident dog or an adopter looking to have a dog with a cooler social circle than them. When Twinkie has completed her zoomies and playtime is over, you can find her cuddling close to her beloved cow stuffy, and there's a good chance both her and her stuffed toy won't be far from her human person. Twinkie is incredibly affectionate and loves to both give and receive love. Twinkie is a gem on leash, has quickly mastered stairs, lives for a trip to the park and walks where she can sniff all things interesting, and doesn't mind a happy stoop sit to people and neighborhood watch. Twinkie is such a content dog simply being alive and truly enjoys life from the moment she wakes up.
Ideal Home
Twinkie would thrive in a home that appreciates her outgoing and loving nature. She would do best in a home with another dog, as she absolutely adores canine companions.
Ongoing Health
In Twinkie's prior home, her hygiene was not properly maintained, so we are supporting her hair regrowth with consistent baths and a nutritious diet, both of which she adores. Despite her past experiences, Twinkie has taken life in stride, and although on the outside she may look like what she's been through, it is evident her spirit is intact by her always wagging tail.

Twinkie is fully housebroken and crate trained. She is a gem on leash and has quickly mastered stairs.
