Zambie Wigglebutt

Miss Zambie is a beautiful 3.5-month-old German Shepherd mix with a striking black and tan coat, soulful eyes, and an adorable white blaze down her face. She's earned the title of resident cuddle bug and is happiest when curled up close, soaking up love and affection. While she may take a little time to warm up to new people, once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly sweet and devoted. Zambie enjoys playing with her siblings but is just as content settling down for a nap. She thrives on companionship and forms meaningful connections. She has adapted wonderfully to a structured routine and is an excellent sleeper, settling in well at night and enjoying her daytime naps.

Ideal Home

Zambie is looking for a home where she can be close to her people. She has been exposed to children and does great with them, and she also does wonderfully with the adult German Shepherd she currently lives with, enjoying being part of the pack.

Ongoing Health

Zambie is a young puppy who will need continued care and monitoring as she grows.

Training & Support

Zambie is making great progress with both crate training and potty training and continues to thrive with consistency and routine. Like all puppies, she'll need patience, guidance, and continued training as she grows. She has a wonderful balance of playful puppy energy and quiet affection, making her an easy companion to fall in love with.

Zambie is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
