Vanilla, or Nillie as she's known, is a sweet, medium-energy Chihuahua mix who was born around October 1, 2024, and weighs between 10-11 lbs. She arrived with her pal Strawberry, and they get along wonderfully! You can adopt them together or separately. Nillie is a smart, playful, affectionate, and silly girl who loves to romp and play chase with her dog friends. She's also discovering the joy of stuffed toys and enjoys a good bully stick. She bonds closely with her people and will happily follow you around.

Ideal Home

Nillie can be a bit shy and timid when meeting new people, but she warms up with slow, gentle introductions and tasty treats. She'd prefer a home with another young, friendly dog to play with and keep her company. She enjoys being a central part of her family's life and wants to be included in daily activities; she wouldn't do well being left alone for long hours. Children should be dog-savvy, respectful, and over 12 years old, as she can be overwhelmed. She also needs a yard and is not suited for apartment living.
