Vera is a young female Husky mix who has overcome a difficult past and is now ready to find her forever home. On what should have been her first birthday, she was abandoned at a Texas kill shelter due to a health concern that has since been resolved. Despite her fear and pain, Vera's tail still wagged, showing her resilient spirit. We saw her will to live and fought for her. Now, she's healthy, vibrant, and eager to share her whole heart with a loving family who will never give up on her.

Vera is looking for a warm home filled with hope, love, and safety. She has a history of being treated poorly, so a home where she feels secure and cherished is paramount.

Vera is heartworm negative, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines. She has fully recovered from her past health issues and is now in excellent health.
