Bella is an absolutely delightful Staffordshire Terrier who lives for snuggles and being close to her person. She's incredibly people-oriented and thrives on affection and companionship. Bella was surrendered to the SPCA when her family moved, and after a period in a foster home, she had a negative encounter with another dog. Because of this, she's understandably alert and a bit fearful around other dogs and would be happiest as the only pet in her new home, where she can feel safe and truly relax.
Ideal Home
Bella would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can feel secure and have all the attention to herself. She can be a bit enthusiastic around squirrels and cats on walks, so a home that can manage this is ideal. Bella cannot be crated, but she is doggy-door trained and has excellent potty manners. She also needs extra comfort during loud celebrations like fireworks.
Ongoing Health
Bella is up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives. She had a recent health exam and received a certificate from a veterinarian.
Training & Support
Bella has wonderful manners and walks well on leash. She enjoys car rides and would make a fantastic travel companion. She's a quick learner and eager to please her person.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Our out-of-state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
- All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention.
- A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
