Cimar Amstaffs is an AKC Breeder of Merit SILVER . We have bred numerous AKC champions as well as dogs titled in Obedience, Dock Diving, Lure Coursing, Barn Hunting, Pet Therapy, Sprint Racing and more. We strive to produce not only amstaffs that conform to the written standard for the breed but also dogs that excel in amazing temperament and health. We test all breeding animals for Congenital defects such as but not limited to Ataxia, Cardiac disease, Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, Thyroiditis and more. All breeding dogs also undergo DNA and DNA color screening tests. Kelly of CIMAR is board certified in Georgia as a Veterinary Technician and has worked in small animal medicine for over 25+ years. All dogs and puppies are heavily socialized and are exposed to children and other dogs at a young age. We do not have a kennel facility and pride ourselves in raising all of our dogs in our home where they are underfoot at all times. All puppies, companion or show prospects are accompanied with a temperament and health guarantee. We do NOT encourage back yard breeding. Companion puppies are placed on limited registration and show prospects are accompanied with an expectations agreement signed by both parties. We take great steps in ensuring the integrity of our individual breeding program as well as the breed as a whole and expect none less of the extended cimar family.
